Our Medical Director

Mayelin Carpio, MD, is a compassionate, board-certified Internal Medicine physician who is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients in Fort Myers, Florida. She focuses on preventive medicine, health promotion, wellness, and disease management, and emphasizes building long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr. Carpio’s medical journey began at the University of Medical Science of Havana, Cuba, where she graduated in 2007. She completed two years of medical training as an Intensive Care physician before relocating to the United States in 2010. She then completed her training in Internal Medicine residency at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico, where she demonstrated her commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

For the past four years, Dr. Carpio has been practicing medicine in Southwest Florida as a Hospitalist, with a focus on chronic disease management and acute care. Her passion and interest in obesity medicine have led her to become a certified provider in obesity prevention and treatment, and she is currently a member of the obesity medicine association. Additionally, she has been trained and certified in multiple aesthetic procedures such as neurotoxins, derma-fillers, thread-lifts, and micro-needling, by the Empire Medical Training.

Dr. Carpio’s continued and extensive education and medical credentials make her a trusted expert in the field. Her dedication to her patients led her to create Vitallydoc Integrative Medicine, where she offers a holistic approach and personalized treatment plans to enhance her patients’s overall well-being by providing convenient health care and wellness services in the comfort of their homes. Vitallydoc provides services such as IV Therapy, Medical Weight loss Management, Hormone Replacement, and Aesthetic Services, contributing to the overall health and longevity of her patients.
